The things little boys do !

Well, tonight, Dalton had to go the ER to get 19 stitches in his arm. Up in our game room he and his brother were playing. Triston ran out onto the balcony off of the gameroom and when he did...Dalton locked him outside. Well...anyone that knows my boys can imagine the scene from there. Triston starts yelling, aggravating Dalton, calling names etc etc...and so Dalton (being the "I will get you back" kinda kid that he is) decided to slap the glass in the window that is on the door right where Tristons face was. Right through the glass went Daltons arm. Normal reflex is to jerk back and so he did and ripped 4 deep punctures in his arm. They were able to close 3 of them up but unfortanetly, one had lost skin in the accident. So...now Dalton will have a chunk out of his arm.

Triston being on the other side, received 3 little cuts right above his eye and while at the ER with Dalton, we found pieces of glass stuck in his head. I thought the blood that was in his hair was from Dalton...but come to find out...it was his own. Digging glass out of an 8 year olds head was fun!!

BOYS!!

Night out with our younger boys

With our teenagers getting older, Friday and Saturday nights, the 2 younger ones (Dalton & Triston) get stuck hanging out with mom and dad while the others head to a movie or friends house to stay the night. Last night, we took a trip to the video store and rented 8 movies, then headed over to Triston's favorite...James Coney Island to grab dinner. We came back to the house and the boys made a picnic in front of the tv to watch "Flushed Away" while Johnnie and I watched "Disturbia" (which freaked me out!!)

The boys like being with us alone because they get to pick what we do. One wanted to go bowling and the other wanted to rent movies. A coin was tossed and well....you see what we ended up doing (which was great for Johnnie and I because we were too tired to do anything else).

Today, we head off to play baseball against a team in Willis! Wish us luck!

Sibling Jealousy!! Gotta love it! Dalton's Blog

Well, I was sitting here at the computer posting some new blogs of Keeli and Dalton wants to know..."Why don't you put pics of me on here?". So this one...is just for Dalton. Dalton, Triston(who is loosing his teeth as you can tell from this pic..lol) and myself. Just to show him, there is no one here partial to any other...this blog posting is just for him.

This week, I got a call from Dalton's history teacher. The teacher called to inform me that he was very happy to have Dalton in his class. That Dalton is very respectful and is making all A's in his class. That Dalton is a hard worker and very helpful to others. Needless to say....We are so proud of him!!

So Dalton, when you read this...Mom loves you son...so so so much!

Keeli's Tumble Video

Keeli is doing so well in tumble/cheer. Check out her video here. She can actually do several more backhand springs but as you can tell...she has ran out of room on the grass! Way to go KiKi!!

It's Cheer time!!

It's cheer time and October is busy for Keeli. She has her first competition on

October 27th. The makeup they have to wear is so dark up close but far away...they look fantastic!! She is getting very excited and doing so well in cheer this year! We can't wait to see what this year competition brings!! She is growing up so fast and breaking her daddy's heart already! HA! He hates boys!!

Fall Again....I love it!

Ok, so I went outside this morning and I could feel it!! It was so cool outside and smelled wonderful!! Here are a few more that I had time to put out late yesterday. My neighbors stopped in and said that I was putting everyone on the street in the mood for Halloween ; )
I have a lot more to do before I am finished with the final project but I am getting closer. Triston is loving it!! He loves all the pumpkins inside too. Although, he walks around blowing out the candles inside of the ones in the house. He wants to know when he will get to go to the "fall festival" that the church has every year. I told him that is still a month away.
We are looking forward to the pumpkin patch too. That is such a fun thing to do. We usually pick out 3 or 4 and carve them for the front porch. Last year we did some really cool carvings that I have pics of and will try to post on here for those of you that didn't get to see them.
The only dread in all of it is taking all of this down because my Christmas decorations, put all of this to shame. It usually takes me a week to decorate for Christmas! Oh well, until then...I am going to enjoy every minute of this season!
Love you all and.....HAPPY HARVEST!

YEAH!! It's almost here ....FALL!

Well, I have started!! I made Johnnie go into the attic for all my Fall decorations. It will take me a few days to get everything put together.

I absolutely love this season. I love the pumpkins, scarecrows, mums and fall colors. This is the basket I decorate for part of my front porch stuff.

Check back later for pictures of me and my family at the pumpkin patch!
